The work environment is challenging, dynamic, and ever-changing.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (Partial List):
- Developing and implementing marketing campaigns for our conferences/ workshops, membership program, certification program, and other services
- Incorporating direct mail, email, internet marketing, public relations, telemarketing, and other marketing and promotional methods within campaigns
- Writing copy where needed to best communicate IBFs services and promotions
- Coordinating all marketing efforts with appropriate service providers; printers, broadcast email services, web developer, database manager, graphic designer, etc.
- Testing, tracking, and evaluating results of all marketing initiatives to ensure proper use of resources and continuous improvement.
- Managing and controlling marketing budgets with utmost diligence
- Networking with professionals to gain knowledge on what types of programs and services should have a priority
- Maintaining weekly promotional schedule for all off-line and online campaigns, while ensuring all parties involved for deliverables have enough notice and are deadline driven
- Creating event marketing strategies at conferences and other events to fully maximize further business opportunities with professional in the field
- Creatively utilizing social media for lead generationRequirements:QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicant should have a bachelors degree with a focus on marketing, but not essential
- 2-3+ years of related experience in online, off-line, direct mail marketing
- Strong project management leadership and ability to stick to deadlines without guidance
- A well organized, extremely hardworking proactive individual that can manage diverse, and multiple projects at the same time
- Knowledge and experience of design and printing processes
- Experience querying databases for mailing lists, and information for making fast decisions (this is NOT a programmer role, but the candidate must have sufficient technical skills to query and manipulate data)
- Ability to foster relationships with professionals from large corporations
- Pay tremendous attention to detail, have excellent performance analysis and spreadsheet skills and simply enjoys project management
- Possess the confidence to negotiate with a variety of publications, industry associations, third party suppliers/ outsourced services to forge strong and lasting partnerships
- Excellent oral, written, problem solving, and computer skills a must
- Experience in marketing for associations in terms of increasing memberships, certifications, event registrations a plus
- Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) a plus
- Experience in utilizing social media for lead generation a plus
- Having design and color sense to determine whats attractive to prospective customers is a plusThe position requires a highly motivated and organized individual that is willing to diversify and multi-task for the good of the company.
